Josh was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1983 and raised in several communities across Ohio, including Paulding, Napoleon, and Holgate. Those years shaped his ability to adapt, learn, and connect with different people and environments. A major turning point came in fifth grade when his family moved to Holgate, where he completed his education and graduated from Holgate High School in 2001.
His path led him into metrology, where he works with precision components from a variety of industries, including military applications, automotive systems, and custom machine parts. He continues independent study in engineering, which keeps him engaged in learning and technical growth.
Service has been a consistent part of his life, especially through the Holgate Lions Club, receiving eyeglasses from the Holgate lions in the 5th grade helped shape his long-term connection to helping others. That moment eventually grew into active involvement in the Lions organization, along with community accessibility projects through Jesus Builds, and church-based service.
Outside of work and volunteer service, he is focused on strengthening and rebuilding organizations, particularly those that need structure and renewed direction. He values integrity, hope, and community, and looks for practical ways to create lasting impact where it is needed most.
